The PCCF & HoFF, Assam had taken a review meeting of various activities under EAC on 19.09.2019 at office of Conservator of Forest, EAC, Jorhat. The meeting was attended by CCF (T) UAZ, CF EAC and DFOs of Jorhat, Golaghat, Majuli, Sivasagar, Dibrugarh, Doomdooma and Digboi. Various activities were discussed like Online Revenue Management System, Operation of MCAs, seizure and disposal of timbers and other forest produce, status of revenue, staff position and status of plantation and nurseries in various Divisions.

Specific issues like illegal transport of Khair wood, illegal coal mining, operation of stone depots and Agarwood depots were discussed at length and suitable instruction were given to DFOs to act accordingly.
